ElectricFireplacesDepot™.com came from our love and passion for great design, style, look and quality. It started from our personal search for perfect electric fireplace for our own home.

Without us knowing, the seed of the idea of ElectricFireplacesDepot™.com  was planted when my wife and I were renovating our home. We were looking for replacement of our two old gas fireplaces. We wanted something that looks modern, cool style, high quality, great brand, easy to install, safe for our children, and fire looked as close as possible to the natural wood burning fire.

We spent weeks researching different brands and styles on different sites and by visiting different showrooms in our area. We didn’t really know what to look for in high quality electric fireplace… It was somewhat frustrating. But we knew that we wanted something great, something that would bring a statement to our new home. We did find our perfect electric fireplace after long research online and after many visits to different showrooms.

Since then we traveled to different destinations, stayed in many prestigious hotels, visited homes of our friends and family, attended shows and expos. We saw a number of really nice, really cool electric fireplaces that we did not see during our research for our own. There are so many of them. Fascinating looks, styles, flames, sounds etc. A lot of times we thought “Wow … this is really nice! Wish we found it earlier!”

One day, we were thinking about a unique niche for our company. Incidentally, we were sitting in our living room and somehow, we started conversation about how nice our electric fireplace is, how relaxing it is, warm atmosphere it creates, how our kids like to play next to it, and what a great accent features it is to our living room.

All of a sudden, we just looked at each other: “Why not electric fireplaces?” We both love it, why not to create company for it. The rest is history. We got to work and now here it is.
